*SOLD* Warren Platner Dining Armchairs for Knoll International- One more left!Automaton Vintage Furnishings
The wire collection created by Platner for Knoll in 1966, remains one of the most relevant Mid-Century collections to date. The iconic and graceful silhouette of these Warren Platner chair's reflect the works of historical design movements, primarily Louis XV, which was Platner's inspiration for this creation.
This set of three (3) dining chairs with arms are constructed of hundreds of steel wires, finished in nickel, bent symmetrically to create a comfortable seat. Encased in this sculpted frame is a bold red seat and back cushion. The authentic Knoll International manufacture stickers are found under the seat cushion stamped June 17th 1981.
This set of innovative dining chairs can be used together or individually as accent chairs throughout the home and could be located in a dining room, living room, office space, entryway or bedroom. They would also be apt in a hospitality or corporate location, such as a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, executive office, or in a luxe clothing emporium.
We have many other Warren Platner designed chairs and tables from this grouping both in nickel and bronze. If you are looking to create a set of custom upholstered chairs in velvet, leather, linen or other fabric options please contact us for more details.
