Three-Seat Tandem Sling Bench by Eames for Herman MillerAutomaton Vintage Furnishings
Ray & Charles Eames were commissioned to design the perfect utilitarian seating for the first international airports in 1962. Created for comfort and convenience, this chair is iconic and has never before been redone with such luxury in mind.
Reupholstered in world-class, full grain Edelman Leather, the seats and backs have been redone in a supple, soft, blueish grey leather that resembles a soft suede.
Finished with matching hair-on cowhide dresses the newly revamped arm rests, and the aluminum frames have been restored and polished with a satin finish.
For the modern-day eclecticists and discerning collectors, these pieces are heirlooms from the generation of the jet-set elite. Would be a fantastic addition to an office, foyer, man cave, living room, or waiting room.
