One of the most accomplished designers of handwoven textiles from the 1920s on, Maria Kipp is known both for her remarkable hand loomed fabrics and for paving the way for female artists. Her work is highly collectible and coveted, but also very rare she didn't employ large scale advertising therefore her production was kept to smaller runs.
The rattan strips of Mid-Century Modern magazine rack are woven with chenille in an array of earth tones. The sling is framed in a curved brass structure with rubber feet to protect your surface.
In excellent vintage condition, this item is sturdy and structurally sound. As expected, shows some wear consistent with age and use. Please contact us for a full condition report.
