Exquisitely crafted petite box designed by Don Shoemaker for Señal of Mexico. Taking advantage of the expertise provided by Mexican artisans, Shoemaker founded Señal which produced utilitarian objects, such as this stunning example.

This box features a rosewood casing and inlaid trompe l'oeil pattern of squares and diamonds fabricated from exotic woods. The box bears the Señal label on the underside.

This striking box would make a great interior accent to any space. With its mix of natural materials with expert craftsmanship this piece would add texture and warmth to residential, hospitality or corporate environments.

Measurements: 2.5" H x 5.5" W x 5.5" D

We also currently have four sets of Don Shoemaker interlocking salt and pepper sets and three trays, one with the identical inlaid trompe l'oeil pattern, which would complement this piece beautifully.

Very good vintage condition. As expected, minor signs of use commensurate with its age are evident.
