In 1946, these world renowned LCW or “Lounge Chair Wood” chairs, by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller, were lauded by Time magazine as the best design of the 20th century.
This set of two LCW's are comprised of low-slung, expertly crafted molded seats and backs fabricated from plywood finished in a vibrant red lacquer. The Herman Miller manufacturing label can be found on the underside of the seat.
These wonderfully versatile, revered chairs would fit right into a living room, den, media room, bedroom, playroom or office as a lounge or side chair option.
