This collection of Norman Bel Geddes designed pieces for Simmons Furniture Company is an apt representation of the Streamline Modern movement and bares the original manufacturing label. The amalgamated design illustrates the Machine Age classic form, including horizontal orientation, rounded edges, chrome details and subdued base color.
Comprising of powder coated steel, chrome trim and metal pulls with bakelite embellishment and finished in a muted yellow hue, this set includes:
One tallboy, two shorter cabinets that can be used as nightstands or as a vanity when bridged with glass top, which one (1) is also included in this set, and one upholstered stool.
Contact us if you wish to upgrade the glass top to a wood top, to a stone top, such as marble, granite or onyx, or to a Lucite top.
A wonderful set in great vintage condition that is still as relevant and modern looking now as it was then. The clean lines make this set highly adaptable to a number of design schemes and spaces. These pieces can be situated in a room together, such as a bedroom, or can be split up to be introduced in to a living room, den, office, dressing room or large walk-in closet, or office space. In excellent condition, very little wear is noticeable, this set was either recently fully restored or kept in incredible condition by the original owners.
