This Art Deco French Bohemian style chaise longue / rocking daybed that has been newly restored in a high gloss lacquer using Farrow & Ball's 'Off Black', a soft black that is much more flattering to adjacent colors than stronger blacks. This elegant chaise is comprised of hand woven rattan with circular embellishments along the curved base and also doubles as a rocker that is perfect for dreamy days. There is a cup holder on one armrest to nestle a cocktail into and a magazine or book holder on the other. Just layer up some cotton flat-weave blankets and throw on a couple of Mongolian sheepskins and you're set for an afternoon of blissful daydreaming. This chaise is also extremely practical, with wheels tucked under the headrest to allow for easy relocation. It can also be stored by standing up on one end against a wall should you be short on space or wanting to stow it in a shed or garage when not in use.
